To consider proposed changes to the Club constitution...

The Committee feel that the current constitution of Alnwick Bridge Club is inadequate having been written over ten years ago based on the constitution of another club that was written several years earlier. It has also come to light that many members have never seen a copy of the current constitution.The EBU has drawn up a model constitution for bridge clubs which can be amended to suit the requirements of any club.

The revised constitution which it is proposed Alnwick Bridge Club should adopt is based on this model constitution and is shown below. Those items shown in red are either new or modified items to the current constitution and those in purple are to be deleted from the current constitution.

We meet in the Annexe of Lindisfarne Middle School, Lindisfarne Road, Alnwick (see map) on Tuesday evenings commencing at 7.00pm, ending about 10.00pm.
