The Alnwick Bridge Club committee is pleased to announce it has arranged a holiday for next year at the spacious Victorian AA 3-Star Cumbria Grand Hotel, Grange-over-Sands which overlooks Morecambe Bay and Grange Golf Course. It is set in 20 acres of private gardens and woodland, and is only six miles from Lake Windermere. The bedrooms are large, en suite (with bath and shower), and have television, radio, telephone, tea tray. There are lifts to all floors. Bridge will be in the magnificent ballroom.

Bridge tuition by ANDREW KAMBITES, a bridge Grandmaster, EBU senior congress director, experienced teacher (7 of his juniors have played bridge for England in the last five years), Honorary Life member of EBU Teachers Association, writer of 20 bridge books (some with Eric Crowhurst, Ron Klinger, Hugh Kelsey), and writer for English Bridge, Bridge Plus, etc.

This holiday is licensed by the English Bridge Union and is open to all bridge players; it is not necessary to be a member of any club, county association or the English Bridge Union to participate. It is designed to be fun for all from the inexperienced to regular club players. There will be seminars, bridge, Master Points, and prizes – including a separate prize category for less experienced players.
